This looks like a very nice place and I think I will try to see it. I am enroute across the Indian Ocean on a drill ship. We will be stopping here for crew change and I will have a full day to explore the island. Thanks fior posting; I am gathering inform

I thought about visiting the Botanical Gardens at Pamplemousses when I was in Grand Baie last month, but never quite found the time. I wish I had done now - the gardens look beautiful in your photos.
