Firstly, I would like to express a big thank you to George (VT member tiabunna) who gave me a great tour of Braidwood town and surrounding areas as well.

Braidwood is a small town located along the road from Canberra to Batemans Bay. This town is full of historical and colourful buildings, mainly located along the main road. Ideal for a day trip outside Canberra if you happened to be there.

Hope the information and photos here will be useful in planning your trip to Braidwood town. Enjoy your travels!

This photo showns and wide and laid back main street scenery of Braidwood town. Many people stop here for sightseeing, meals and drinks (like a rest stop) when they travel from Canberra to Batemans Bay.

There are several beautiful, historical and colourful buildings here, such as the St Andrews Anglican Church shown in this photo.
