Other Shopping Info: Hoehyeon Underground Shopping Centre Other Shopping Info Review

The Hoehyeon Underground Shopping Centre is conveniently located at the sub-way station area between Myeongdong and Namdaemun areas. You can drop by at this shopping area to have a look when you are at Myeongdong or Namdaemun, but personally I find this shopping area to be quite small and inadequate as compared to Namdaemun and Myeongdong (which are much more exciting, with lots more shops).

If you are looking for cheap stuff in Seoul, you can check out the 1000 Won shops whereby all items in the shop are only at 1000 Korean won each (but don't expect luxurous items here). There is one 1000 Won shop located at the Myeongdong area along Choongmuro-2-ga street near to the famous Sejong Hotel.

Other Shopping Info: Shinsegae Department Store Other Shopping Info Review

The Shinsegae Department Store is a famous department store chain in South Korea. As far as I know, one outlet is located at Namdaemun area (next to the Namdaemun flee market) and another one is at the Seoul Express Bus Terminal (south of the Hangang River). Being a huge department store, it sells almost everything from clothings, cosmetics, shoes, toys etc to food and supermarket at the basement area.

Myeongdong: Lotte Shopping Centre, Myeongdong Myeongdong Review

When you are at the Myeongdong area, you can visit the Lotte Shopping Centre, which is essentially a huge department store of Lotte selling mainly women clothings, cosmetics, handbags etc. This shopping centre is located just across the road of Myeongdong and you cannot miss it because of the huge "Lotte" signboard.

At the south of the Han River is a famous shopping area known as Lafesta which has several shopping complexes and various shops selling all kinds of stuff. This place is popular among teenagers and is usually crowded during the weekends.

At the Sinchon area of Seoul where there are many universities is the famous Sinchon Ladies Street area. This place consists of many streets lined with shops which selling women stuff ranging from clothes to shoes, accessories, handbags, hats etc etc. Very interesting place to do some serious shopping for ladies. Dongdaemun (Great East Gate): Great shopping at Dongdaemun

One of the best place to shop at Seoul is perhaps at Dongdaemun, especially the famous Doota shopping centre which has plenty of shops selling women stuff at very reasonable price and the shops opened until 11pm or more. If you are into serious shopping in Seoul, this is the place you should go.

Myeongdong: Myeongdong is the place to be in Seoul Myeongdong Review

Myeongdong is one of the major shopping areas in Seoul and there are many streets lined with clothing stores, restaurants, department stores etc. The crowd is huge especially during the weekends, mostly teenagers who are dressed to kill. A visit to Seoul will not be complete without doing some shopping at Myeongdong, but be warned that the prices are not cheap here.
