Who said that it's always sunny in Athens? Here is a 5/1/2002 photo showing some snow in the city centre. If you are coming here on winter, get prepared well! Usually winters are mild, but look at the picture!

It was great time, haven't seen this city more colorful and happy and international! Many things said before those games, there were many fears for several reasons, but finnaly it was fun and I'm happy I was with those that enjoyed every moment of it!

The marks of the general tide up and improvement are obvious in the city, new roads, new means of transportation, new stadiums and landmarks. Even the souvenirs of the Olympics you can still find somewhere. If you missed the great summer of 2004, at least you can still pay a visit to this great city instead of visiting boring touristic factories of other Mediteranean countries that I will not mention! Here it is not a theme park or a set of hotels, it is a great cool city, a must to visit!
