The city

You said: "I'll go to another land, another sea.
Another city will be found, better than this.
Every effort of mine is a failure.
and my heart is buried-like a dead man.
Until when my mind will stay in this misery?
Wherever I turn my head, wherever I look,
dark ruins of my life I see here,
where so many years I passed and destructed and wasted".

New places you won't find, you won't find new sea.
The city will follow you. To the streets you'll hang around, to the same streets. In the same neighborhoods you will grow old, in the same houses your hair will turn white.
Always the same city you'll reach. For something else- don't hope- there is no boat for you, no road.
In the same way that you ruined your whole life here,
in this little corner, to all the earth you wasted it.
