Ok, where do you start??...
Well, so far, I have only visited Jo'burg in SA but definately plan on going back. It had to be the best holiday I have ever had. I stayed with my friends family in a suburb of Jo'burg called Edenvale. I couldn't believe how Americanised it is! None the less, it is a great place and I would recommend it to anyone.
If you are wanting to go to SA or anywhere else in Africa, a really good website to visit is triponline.net, a good friend of mine works on it, it is based in Africa, and is well worth a peek!
This piccie is of a place just outside of Jo'burg called Randburg Waterfront. It is a self contained shopping/eating/entertainment place based around a man made lake. There is a great flea market there as well as many other shops, wayside cafes and a bowling alley. Well worth seeing!

Hi Karen ,you described S A very well Jo'burg is a bit of an intimedating City ,Voortrekkers was a bit boring ,but the parlement building and grounds in Pretoria and the City buildings were awsome I think Great page Karen.Sun City was great | cleocat Sat Feb 12, 2005 19:05 UTC
Hi Spur is a very popular restaurant in SA. I live in Kempton Park about 10 min from Edenvale. I'm not very much into casino's either but Montecasino has a charm of it's own. | glennkasner Wed Dec 1, 2004 11:28 UTC

Good SA/Jo'burg pages...i'm in Jo'burg 1 night 24/12 then on to Durban to watch the cricket 25/12 - 30/12.Even though I should be watching the cricket & bought my tickets,I need to skive off to see Sharks & Lions & things...Have fun..Dave :-) |
