Warnings Or Dangers: Cobbled Streets

This is a bit of a bizarre danger, but I will mention it anyway. When driving around the tiny streets of Alvor, it is really easy to get lost. If you end up on the cobbled parts, then it is really difficult to get out again, especially if you have a Peugot 206 estate (which is huge) and you have to try to do a 64 point turn!!

The dogs are strays. Its Alvor custom to feed and to vet them..At night, people feed them and sometimes people throw rocks at them. We were here for 2 weeks and passed the dogs every day. They are just looking for a meal and somewhere cool to sleep..... | Alvorbride Sun Jan 7, 2007 13:35 UTC
