Glovertown

Newfoundland Blueberries
Glovertown was our first stop after St. John's. Glovertown is just west of Terra Nova National Park, and had two or three B&B's, scenic drives along the coast, a couple restaurants and a quiet park that we hiked.

Newfoundland has a lot of berries. Most of the B&B's featured local jams and jellies. The morning we hiked the Ken Diamond park we could have eaten our fill of blueberries.

If you are planning a trip to Newfoundland, see my province page for general help in planning a Newfoundland vacation.

Hello Mr. Peanut. I was born in Gloversville, where they made gloves. Maybe this is another place like that.

A nice quick look at your stop here! How did the scenery on this stretch compare with Deer Lake to L'anse aux Meadows section?
