Lake Erie - Port Stanley

by Redlats - last update: Oct 20, 2008

Peering out the harbour at Port Stanley
Just 40 minutes drive south of London, Ontario is Port Stanley and Lake Erie. Port Stanley is a tourist town of 2500. There is a harbour run by Transport Canada, and Kettle Creek must be dredged at least a kilometre from shore -- there are ships all along the creek.

In mid-September, there is not much there - a few stores in town, the beach, a bunch of closed restaurants, but it must be hopping in summer.
