We went to the Twin Cities for the last week of March. It is an interesting activity planning for the trip. First, I went to AAA and got a map, and their tour book. I browsed the internet for motels. Damn, on the weekend of March 30 to April 1 is the US university basketball Final 4 - no hotel rooms available. So we are going home on the 30th. Is it ever difficult deciding which motel to book in the Twin Cities. There seems to be twenty-five cities in the Twin Cities area. Activities - I have read everyone's recommendations in VT - OK, we will go to the Mall of America. The kids want to go to an NHL and NBA game. Not sure I can afford all this. Now what else? |

Laurel914 Wed Oct 21, 2009 05:49 UTC It's funny that you put the Museum of Questionable Medical Devices under tourist trap. I've lived in St Paul my whole life and never heard of it so it must be for tourists! I have to admit I'm kind of curious and may have to visit it one of these days! :) | joits Mon Aug 9, 2004 18:43 UTC Thanks for the tip on the airport, I have a stopover there on my way to London, and I just wanted to see what other VTers thought about the airport. | pipsqueak Wed Jul 28, 2004 14:37 UTC Nice job on your Minneapolis page. I live here and you did a good job of capturing some things you could do here in a long weekend. | deecat Thu Feb 5, 2004 02:52 UTC Excellent work on these pages with lots of variety, useful tips, details, personal opinions, and honesty. It combines to make a terrific outcome. |
