The Kölner Dom | View of west side of the Rhein with the Kölner Dom |
The Kölner Dom is the primary tourist attraction in Köln. If you peruse the VT Köln pages, half of them are about the cathedral - the grandoise church, the exterior walls, the interior windows, the detail, the climb to the top, etc. I have included my 2 cents worth in some of the tips and a travelogue as well |
VT meeting continued The meeting which started on Saturday Sept. 20th in Duesseldorf spilled over into another day; we moved to Cologne (Köln). Sunday saw us visit the cathedral, climb its tower, then visit various pubs, and walk around the city centre. Although we started out with 9 people on Saturday, we ended with just five of us. |
Köln If you look closely, you can see us wandering the streets of Köln (kidding) |
