"A jaunt into Germany" Germany by Redlats

In fall 2003, we spent a month in Europe. Most of the time, we spent in Switzerland, but Sabsi had arranged a meeting in Düsseldorf, so we drove six hours north for a VT meeting.

We met seven VT members in Düsseldorf. We stayed in a hotel in the city centre, which Sabs told us was in the red light district. It is true what they say about Düsseldorf - beer is plentiful. The next day the VT meeting continued in Cologne where we stayed in a hostel downtown. You can read about it on our K?ln page.

The third morning, we followed the Rhine River south stopping in Koblenz and at the castle ruins at Rheinfels before stopping for the night in R?desheim. On the way home to Switzerland we stopped at Baden-Baden for a quick tour.
