Dallas is certainly the best known Texas city in Europe.
First of all, because of the first Soap serie which had a wide fame in France and Europe (the serie is still broadcasted). Secondly, because of the oil and we were disapointed to see so few wells and no derrick. Thirdly, because of the cow boys (not the football team but the true ones) and the longhorns. We were disapointed during our stay to not see one cow, except in bronze. Fortunately, we met cow boys in Fort Worth. |
