The painted wall
Homestead is a little town located on US1 at the main entrance of the Everglades National Park and near Florida City.
It had a long main street with some restaurants and offices.
The city is known to host the Coral Castle (28655 S Dixie Hghw -305.248.6345) built in coral by a man in memory of his beloved girl friend died young. We had no time enough to visit.
