Favorite Thing: See the Colosseo. You would be able compare what you see to the final scene of Gladiator (the movie). A large part of the stones had been removed in order to repare and to build some houses in Rome. You need imagination to have a complete picture of the arena.

Favorite Thing: visit the FORI IMPERIALI close to the Colosseo. To see : on the Via dei Fori Imperiali, the extension of the Roman Empire presented through several maps. Impressive. See other photograph in travelogue.
Fondest Memory: An idea : climb the hill which is on the left of the photograph (but off the image) to have a look on the Colosseo and the FORI.

Favorite Thing: be in the crowd which is permanently on this narrow place. By day, By night. I always see a lot of people at the Trevi Fountain.
Fondest Memory: Put a coin of money in the Fountain and make a wish. You are in Rome : miracles can occure.

Favorite Thing: Do a walking tour in the Villa Borghese, a pleasant garden near the Station Spagna and the famous Via Veneto. This romantic image is taken in the garden : a small lake, an island with a temple.
Fondest Memory: Using the stairs, leave the Garden by the Plazza del Popolo and walk Via del Corso. At the end of the afternoon, it is a pedestrian street with a lot of shops to visit.
