Tourist Trap: The guide explained he wanted...

    • The guide explained he wanted avoid the tourist traps for us and at each tour, he brought us to a carpet center (the cheapest one) or to a jewell center (the cheapest one too).
    I am sure the silk carpets were not made in the center we visited eventhough they showed young girls who are the only persons to be able to tie the threads but who are resting at the moment of our visit.
    The price of jewellry is studied for the tourists, such as a little lower than the same thing in an other European country. I prefer buy jewellry in Italy or in Malta.
    The sole good we bought is lokums : they are good and the guide was sympathetic...
