We were in Salzburg beginning of April 2000. I had gotten sick the day before in Munich as we were getting ready to head to Salzburg. I ended up spending an extra night in Munich. Consequently, our time there was cut short. We did make ourselves on promise upon leaving though, we would be back (and soon). I will hopefully be heading back as part of an Italy/Alps trip in Oct 2001. To reitterate that theme, we spent a total of 10 hrs in Salzburg. This really is not enough time to spend in the city. There is just too much culture, shopping, desserts, churches, beautiful scenery, etc. to spend so little time here. I truly do plan to come back as soon as possible. |
