An obvious must see if in Rome. Some advice... First, go on a weekday. Far less crowded. Second, if you enjoy religion, history, museums, etc. plan on spending a few days here. I recomend one day in St. Peter's and the vatican general area, and a day and a half in the Vatican museums. I'm the type to get tired of museums easily, but it took me 5++ hrs before I was tired of the museums and things began to blur together (Luckily just after the Sistine Chapel). Take a couple of days if you really want to see it, although its difficult since you pretty much follow a set path through the museums. |
