We went to Salisbury to see Stonehenge but the town itself it definately worth seeing. The Cathedral has the tallest spire in England and can be seen throughout the town (although, I'll admit I couldn't see it until after I'd been there even though I tried. But once seen its everywhere). It was in Salisbury that Michelle got sick and was given Kalin&Morphine over the counter by a lovely old clerk at a pharmacy. We ate at a nice Italian American resturant because being stupid americans we traveled across an ocean to the English countryside to get Italian food. I just think we were tired of Banger&Mash or fish'n'chips. Anyways, its a great little town with a really neat market in the mornings. Pics on the site are from Greatbuildings.com since I'm still a slacker and haven't got my numerous pics on my computer yet. |
