I visited the Kinabatangan Floodplain in 1999 together with my director. We spent a week at an orang utan research project we are currently supporting.
So, as we kept telling ourselves when we were being attacked by mosquito's, leeches and other wildlife..."this is not al holliday". You could have fooled me!
