This report covers the 2 weeks spent on the North Island of New Zealand from June 22 thru July 7, 1999.

The trip was made with my wife, my granddaughter to visit her father. He was working in New Zealand, Installing automation equipment into a television stations in Auckland. We did most of our sight seeing in Auckland and made tours to the southern mountains and to the northern and western seashores. Auckland is a beautiful city, with many cultures represented. I wish we could have stayed longer and visited other cities on the North Island and all of the South Island. Maybe next time.
