London is expensive, dreary, and cold. i didn't particularly enjoy the food either--i've never had such horrible Indian food in my entire life. I think I need to visit it another time, though, and give it a second chance.

But I did have fun. I liked the tube, the way the inside looks like the inside of a child's toybox with all the primary red blue and yellow colors; I liked the weird smells; I liked Hyde Park and running around on the big empty lawns but not too close to old ladies feeding pigeons.

An acquaintnace took me out to a "real Cockney pub" in the suburbs. A fascinating experience! Fake wood paneling and little old gray men throwing darts, toothless barmaids--it looked like something out of a 1970s porn movie!
