Nightlife Spot: THE END
swerve is a night every wednesday at the end from 9-3am. the club was slick so I didn't trust it at first, but it was wednesday so the yuppie factor wasn"t so bad, and the soundsystem is simply amazing (all those out of control entrance prices do go somewhere productive!) and it"s only 5 pounds if you go there before 2300. residents fabio and flight and a bunch of other very famous and very yummy djs spin drum and bass to a cool and enthusiastic crowd.

Dress Code: trainers are ok. i don't really understand how all those british girls can dance in 5 inch heels to drum and bass, but they pull it off!

Nightlife Spot: Mass
Dekefex it was disorienting, two gigantic rooms: one side drum and bass, one side hip hop. it's brixton and all the working class girls and boys are here, you could snap a training bra, they're so young. there are crazy bodies shaking and kissing lewdly on the stage next to the MC, and the miniskirts are short, short, short, a big difference from the trendy artist and student crowd at the End. people pass out on the stairs, girls cradled in their boyfriends' scrawny arms...
