Six in the City | My wife and daugther at Singapore Zoo. |
My family and I took advantage of the long Labor Day weekend to visit Singapore. We had just six days in which to see as much as possible. In the end, that wasn't very much. We booked a roundtrip flight from Hanoi to Singapore for US$160. The trip started out very cheap, but eventually got more and more expensive. You simply can't visit Singapore and not go on a wild shopping spree. We also added a quick jaunt through Kuala Lumpur and Genting. I think we bit off a little more than we could chew this trip. With only six days, we were in a new place every day. By the end of the trip we were all exhausted. But I have to say it was still a lot of fun. It was my first time to both countries and it was refreshing to experience something new, even if it was a bit rushed. Now that Tiger Air is running flights as cheap as $25 dollars between Hanoi and Singapore, I'm looking forward to returning in the near future.%f* |

ghweeh Mon Aug 21, 2006 16:02 UTC Glad that your girl enjoyed herself. The pool used to be the main attraction when my nephews were younger as we started with a train ride in the animal farm and then off to the pool...
