Bangkok is a great jump off point for much of Southeast Asia. There are an abundance of travel agencies, all eager to help you get where you're going. Unfortunately, illness prevented me from exploring much of Thailand. I hope to change that this year when I make another trip to Southeast Asia in the first leg of my around-the-world journey.

Just arrived in Trat, Thailand today after spending 3 hours on a speed boat from Cambodia.

I've spent almost 2 weeks in Thailand, and still I haven't explored more than the depths of Bangkok's airconditioned malls. I was supposed to head down to some of Thailand's southern beaches. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing a bit of travel burnout. I'll be heading to Bangladesh tomorrow. See ya there!
