Much of Vietnam's wildlife has come under threat from deforestation and poaching. Everyday, I see falcons, monkeys and other wild animals for sale on the side of the road. I guess some locals think it would be neat to have such an animal as a pet. Not surprisingly, many of these animals don't live long in captivity. The one's that do, live a miserable life in a small cage. Cuc Phuong is just one of a few protected national parks. The World Wildlife Foundation is doing its best to help protect Vietnam's wildlife, but so far its an uphill battle.
