Nakhon Ratchasima, also known as Korat, is not somewhere most tourists get too. It's somewhere I've visited a lot, though, as my wife Ning hails from just outside the city.
The city itself doesn't boast much in the way of tourist attractions - although it has plenty of shopping opportunities, and some good hotels. Just up the road though is the town of Phimai, which has a fine Angkor-era temple. |

jts-khorat Mon Mar 6, 2006 06:17 UTC one of the nicest places on earth -- if you like cows and rice fields... http://nakhon-ratchasima.com | richiecdisc Sun Jun 26, 2005 23:57 UTC It's nice to have family in such exotic places. Too funny there is a Tesco's. I found one in The Czech Republic that had a great selection of beers and know them well from the UK. | CliffClaven Fri Jun 11, 2004 17:29 UTC If I could pronounce it, I might go there! | archan4698 Wed Sep 24, 2003 08:10 UTC nothing here yet, but my thai friend is from nakhon ratchasima/khorat:) |
