Phimai is a nice small town north-east of Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat). The main reason for visiting is the Angkor-era temple in the middle of the town which dates from around the 11th century. It's also a decent place to stop over in - there are a few hotels and guesthouses, and there's a decent night market as well. |
