I'm going to visit Ely, and - hopefully - Wicken Fen in a few weeks, so thank you for your tips.

I missed Histon, and don't recall exactly where it is. I took a bus to Ely from Cambridge, but don't believe Histon is on that road. The highlight of Histon for me would be that Chinese restaurant, as I always search for Chinese food wherever I go.
