Phumi Banteay Srei Travel Guide: 51 reviews and 238 photos

Banteay Srei is a lovely temple, but it's somewhat off the beaten path. You'll need the best part of half day to get there and back - however it's an easy trip, as the road is paved all the way. The trip through the countryside makes a great contrast to the town of Siem Reap - there's plenty of attractive scenery along the way. It's well worth doing if you have the time to spare during your trip to Angkor.

I have to agree with Scott, we loved the ride out to Banteay Srei and found the temple one of the nicest we visited. Funny thing was our three day tuk tuk driver wanted to charge extra but we bargained him down.

I enjoyed the ride to Banteay Srei as much as I enjoyed the temple itself!!
