    • The Glaciers of Patagonia are one of the most spectacular sceneries in the world. Especially the one of Perito Moreno. A catwalk brings you quite close to the glacier's terminal face, where you can watch huge icebergs crashing off into Lago Argentina.

    • If you have the chance to travel Ruta 40, the main road leading through Patagonia, then don't hesitate. Along this road you can experience the 'real' Patagonia: desert, wind, sheep, rugged rock formations, petrified forests and remote estancias. It's all gravel road, so check your car well in advance.

    • Take a trip on Lago Argentina in the Glacier National Park. The boat will bring you to the terminal faces of some gorgeous glaciers, such as Upsala, named after the Swedish city. The ship will cruise close to icebergs of various shapes. Tickets for this trips are sold in El Calafate in the province of Santa Cruz. More pics in the travelogue!
