<font face="Comic Sans MS, Arial" color=maroon size=+1>...Alfred Bryan wrote in 1921 of the Grand Canyon. We were very excited, when we first visited this absolutely stunning National Park. But the first impression was disappointing: mist - nothing but mist. The only proof of being there was a National Park ticket, which we had purchased some minutes earlier at the parks entrance. And if not enough with mist, it started snowing in the middle of June! I remember, that we hung around the Visitor Center about one hour, when the weather changed all of a sudden to a cloudless sky. We've never encountered this before. This intro photo was shot some 90 minutes after we passed the entrance. And the weather stayed that good the time we visited. Enjoy the Grand Canyon!</font>
