Picture of Gorazde in 1930. Mixed local muslim/bosnian and austrian architecture. After WWII came serbs from east (Serbia), occupied suburbs of town, and in 1992 seized it and proclaimed so called "Republika Srpska" - virtual bosnian "entity" built on mass graves of burned, raped, murdered muslim residents and land owners.

I worked with the IRC in Gorazde ~15yrs ago, and will be visiting this summer. I'll be traveling throughout BiH, and would like to stay a night in Gorazde - any tips?
