The first time travelling to Prague was in April 2003 during Easter. Spending a lot of time in countries like Germany, Holland or even England. It's a totally different thing going to the Czech Republic. In that 4 days trip, I saw that the locals are basically nice, friendly and quite open minded. I forgot at once how people warned me about the cheating on tourists, pick pockets, stealling cars and prostitution.
In front of my eyes were the beautiful scene from the old castle, down town area and all the nice ladies........! It's not that bad indeed!

So, as I came back to Germany, I told some of my colleagues that Prague is gorgeous and there's nothing to worry about........
We made our move in July 2003. This time we decided to stay in an appartment right in the centre of the old town area. For 15 Euro per person per night staying in a flat with 80 sqare metre, it's definitely a good price. Last time I spent 90 Euro per night to stay in Renaissance!
