Houston is a sprawling metropolis which, like LA, has incorporated cities within its borders. It is located in Harris County and continually scoops up more of Harris County into its city limits. At present the city encompasses 8,778 square miles.

Of course, Houston is best known for Mission Control and the Johnson Space Center. Take the tour there. It is very interesting.

We first went to Houston when my daughter decided to go to Rice University. The photo here shows her at Baker College, Rice University.. It was taken back in 1976.
