Old Sturbridge Village is a recreation of an old early 19th century rural New England town. It is the largest outdoor living history museum in the Northeast. It is located at the intersection of I 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) and I 84, about an hour west of Boston.

Over 200 acres here include more than 40 buildings brought from acroos New England. Some are restored and some are reconstructions.

At the heart of the community was the center village with all the buildings clustered around a common.
