"A Visit to Australia and New Zealand" Australia and Oceania by seagoingJLW

We had a marvelous time in both Australia and New Zealand. I wish they weren't so far away since it would be really great to be able to go again sometime.

After a terribly long flight following our flight to California, we finally arrived in Auckland--exhausted. We weree glad we had made arrangements to stay therre one night before boarding our wonderful ship, the <font color=blue>Legend of the Seas</font>. New Zealand has got to be the most beautiful country in the world. With all the geological activity there, it is not surprising to see the volcanos, hot springs, mudholes, and geysers, as well as the rugged cliffs. It is just gorgeous.

Australia was great and comfortable for a New Yorker. Melbourne and Sydney both had a cosmopolitan feel. they were urban and sophisticated---just what a New Yorker loves. I could live in either city comfortably.
