We had a great time when we visited Oslo. We docked early in the morning and grabbed a cab that took us directly to Vigeland Park. The cabs take credit cards here, so we weren't worried about local currency.

It was so early, we were the only ones in the park, which made for easy viewing of the statues. That is why you won't see other people in our photos. See the <A HREF="http://www.virtualtourist.com/m/.104312/article/1306/159/?s=H">Travelogue</A>.

When it was time to go back to the ship, we walked outside the park and looked around for a cab. There wasn't any-- only a young man on a skate board. He asked if he could help us. When we told him we were looking for a cab, he whipped out his cell phone and called one for us. What more can one ask of local residents?

That day we also wandered around town. We took a tour of the museums across the harbor. What a great place.
