For a good lunch..or a snack at any time (open 24 hours), you can't go wrong with City Extra located right smack in the middle of Circular Quay. But be warned. The portions are humongous--enough for ten people. Enjoy!!

Restaurant Name: Jordon's
We found an outstanding restaurant on the first day in Sydney. Located in Harbourside at Darling Harbour, it is called Jordon's. They serve the most fantastic rock oysters you ever had. Go there.

Another excellent seafood restaurant is Doyle's. Located on Circular Quay west, it has very impressive views of the harbour, including the Opera House, as well as excellent food.

We were directed to a magnificent Chinese restaurant in Chinatown called the Golden Century. Located on Sussex Street, it urned out to be fabulous, popular, and definitely Chinese in ambiance as well as flavor. What a gastronomic find!

It looks like you had a ball in Sydney. I'm all for going back, but I believe I'll do it at Christmas next time. Now that I think back on it, I think I've been to the Victoria Building. |
