Above all, there is an amazing attachment all have who have been to Rawah. I nearly cried when I found their website. I cannot stress enough what an amazing an awesome experience, indescribable, Rawah was. Below, embodied in a poem, is a general feeling of Rawah, written by one, but felt by all.
A Dream of Rawah
Browsing on the Web last winter
Searching for somewhere to go
I came across a guest ranch website
That stirred a dream from long ago.
So much choice but none that beckoned
Until I found a special place
In an instant I was certain
Rawah Ranch - I'd drawn the ace!
Made a booking then I broke it
Couldn't face it on my own
Then I woke up - life's for living!
I would chase that dream alone.
Four weeks later - peace and sunshine
Dappled shade in aspen groves
Beaver dams, fresh streams and moose ponds
Valleys, mountains - I've "come home."
Aches and pains of modern living
Disappeared before my eyes
Riding on a horse called Homer
Patient, funny, playful, wise.
Now I'm back at my computer
Homer's picture on the wall
Rawah's magic has bewitched me
I will always heed her call.
