Many places sell carpets, Persian rugs... beautiful designs that can enhance any room. Prices vary, of course, but you can probably negotiate with them.

The shop we visited sold carpets and coins and old doors, among other things. (See the warning below.)

We sat down and were offered drinks, had a good talk with them- it was nice- and then began negotiations over the door. Overall at the store it was a very pleasant experience. They even through in an old fez.

What to buy: Doors are interesting to look at, though difficult to ship. We decided to buy a door. It was fairly old, and I forget the whole backstory, but an interesting buy. Many places sell carpets and the other stuff, but the doors, if they're real (old) can be much more interesting hung on a wall.

Warning:
Be careful, however, as they don't know how to pack the doors. I described to the seller how I wanted the door packed, with a wide, strong crate, cross-braced and so on... what we got was a torque-able mess, whose slight padding was right up against the door itself and which had no space between the outer slats and the padding- so everything was just asking for problems... and, of course, the door had torqued. We had to have it fixed by a restoration company, and I can't recommend buying from these guys, unless you can see the crate built. If I could go back to that place, I would exact the money it cost to have it fixed due to their incompetence, especially since the blow-off when we talked to them about it and sent them photos of the damages.
They aren't bad people and they do have good stuff, it's just that they don't know the first thing about packing. They just don't think I'll be back.
