Very nice tips that brought back extremely good memories ;-)
On Ermou Street- travelling downhill, There is an AMAZING covered side entrance. It has a fabulous mosaic tiled scene in the domed ceiling. It is a most perfect Madonna & child scene with blue, gold & other colors! Email me at jackraver@aol.com for photo.

Foustanela is a Hellenic name. The costume derives its greekname from the pleated white skirt (foustanela). The foustanela skirt consists of 400 pleats symbolizing the years during which Greece was under Ottoman rule.
