ni hao intro to beijing and the rest of china...its a blast...think new york city...think a very long time ago...i think thats the beauty of a nation that is just starting to blossom...you have all the highlights of civilization but then you can step back and feel like you're back in the early 1920s of america or the 1960s of korea...everything that you've read about is here but the interesting thing about it is...those will be the least interesting things that you will have seen or will experience while here in china...very very very important...the lonely planet guides and all the other guide books that barnes and noble sells...don't believe everything you read...or you'll waste alot of time seeing and doing alot of useless things and getting ripped off and most importantly...sometimes the guide books might tell you that in front of you is the best night club in town but all you might really see is a pile of bricks...litterally... the best way to experience china...just go where the wind takes you...you'll find adventures and experiences that'll you'll never forget in the oddest places...zaijian... |
