I am home from an amazing trip through Tuscany where I settled in San Gimignano for a week and fell in love with the ancient walled city of towers. My wonderful host, Fabio, made sure I saw plenty of things off the beaten path and tasted wonderful food and wine.

Took this in Blacksburg, Virginia... home of the Hokies!

I bought my first house in July 2002... and love it! I have great neighbors, although they tease me about mowing the lawn... seems I'm not home enough to keep it properly in shape! Finally hired someone to maintain the yard and now I'm busy planting things everywhere and tackling projects on the inside of the house like purging, painting, and philosophizing about decor... mostly my photography graces the walls.
