It has been 9 years since my last visit to Beijing. I was lucky that I could still visit the Forbidden City and took a photo at the exactly the same spot while I took 9 years ago.
Time flies indeed; I was a student at NTU when there was nothing much for me to worry about. However, I graduated from the school, served and discharged from the army, moved to work in China... I am not sure if I will ever get a chance to come back or not, but certainly, things will not be the same for my third trip if I ever get one.
my first time to visit north china everythiny seems to be familiar but indeed far away from the south
i saw many things that could only be viewed in tv such as forbidden garden ,and beijing university
- Pros:cheap food
- Cons:kinda dirty

I'm glad I went in summer... sure is cold there with that snow. Beijing climate is very different to Taiwan:-)... nice to experience though for the first time.
It must have been an amazing experience seeing snow for the first time. When you live in a cold climate, you can come to hate the snow. Nice Beijing page, by the way.
