It had been great to have a wonderful short trip with my Mom and sister in Hong Kong. We have not travelled together for a long time.
It has been 16 years since her last trip to Hong Kong... Mom thinks Hong Kong has changed A LOT... |
|  | Hong Kong Hong Kong was the first place that I have ever touched down after Taiwan. I remembered that my first visit here, they seldomly talked or spoke to me in Mandarin, English and Cantonese only. After ten years of re-united with China, Hong Kongers now can talk in a very fluent Mandarin, but somehow, the old-time colonical charm has disappeared or, say, replaced by Chinese dominant culture. I am just a visitor, I do not want to comment on this issue, but I do love this place. |

| | HKIA As I said in the former paragraph, HK is the first place I flew from Taiwan. I have always have a special feeling towards this place, and the first place I touch down was KaiTai airport. Somehow, KaiTai has become history more than 10 years ago, HKIA has moved to remote island of ChepLapKok. Now I work in ShenZhen and need to fly home quite a few times per year, HKIA has once again come into my life!!! |
