I think most of tourists come to Aqaba for beaches merely. And there are mnay private hotel resort beaches like SAS Radisson or Movenpick, base on some tour guide book says, the price is different from JD2.5 to JD10, it all depends on how you appear. So I didn't go to such places, I went to another one call Barracuda.
Barracuda is a private also but the price is fixed, if you buy the ticket from your hotel, it would be JD1 cheaper, which is JD4. This beach is ok, they have everything: food, drink, shower and so on. But there is a SECURITY check at the entrance. What they check is not for your own security but for your food and drink. So, do not take anything eatable with you. Visitors are allowed to leave the beaches dining outside.
