Buenos Dias!
I LOVE Mexico! i love the Mexico that IS Mexico, not the touristy areas like Cancun Cozumel. I believe that if you want to see these places just go to Miami ;)
sometimes i think Mexico has a bad rep with tales of banditos and robberies, but i have never had a problem in Mexico. In fact, if you are a fair skinned woman, Mexico is better than therapy if you don't mind the sultry glances and low cat calls ;)

Although it's not easy to share a comfortable silence, for the people of Puerto Morelos this task has become a pleasurable daily activity. The moment you arrive in town you become part of the community or group of friends that live in this corner of the Cancun-Tulum Corridor. The majority of inhabitants are lovers of ecology and artists, concerned with preserving the environment and always delighted to receive visitors who share their interests.
Puerto Morelos is not a town for people who are in search of fun-filled nights or luxurious accommodations offered by five-star hotels; the charm of this village is its simplicity where the inhabitants seek their beds shortly after dusk and rise at dawn.

Despite its peaceful atmosphere, there is no lack of activities. The coral reef is very close to the shore and the sea is usually calm, so its a favorite for snorkeling or scuba divers, and its also a great place to learn. There are also fishing expeditions and tours through the tangled and beautiful mangroves, where there is a wealth of flora and fauna. In addition, this is the only place where car ferries leave for Cozumel.

For land lovers, a walk through the town or a bike ride is a pleasant alternative. It is also easy to find yoga classes, meditation centers, massages and other activities for nourishing the inner self.

At night, friendly reunions are common in the town or you might find an impoverished moonlight party on the beach where there are sure to be some local and international musicians who have come to enjoy the beautiful silence of this special corner. For those in search of solitude, a night under the stars unhampered by city lights is an enriching experience.
