Magical Tallinn

Estonia was welcomed into the European Union on the 1st May 2004 and since then, Tallinn seems to have become a highly accessible city for a long weekend. Unfortunately, it is also being marketed as a place for stag weekends (lets hope that it doesn't have the same impact as Prague has seen).

Tallinn is a medieval treasure which is only just becoming more commercialised due to the increasing number of cheap flight operators descending on Tallinn airport.

The city is the capital of the indepedent republic which came into being on 24th August 1991 when Russia recognised Estonian independence. Previously the country was under Sovier occupation.
