Towards Nissi Beach
It is very overcrowded in the height of summer. You will find it difficult to get a sunbed unless you are there before 11am in July and August.
Unique Suggestions: I recommend going out of season. From mid-September onwards it begins to quieten down. If you happen to be in the area in April or May, it is also fairly quiet.
Fun Alternatives: Macronossis Beach ... thanks for introducing me to this one George!

Pizza Hut in Protaras
The service is terrible - the starter arrived stuck to the dish ... after the main course.
Go to Pizza Express instead.
